Program Description

Imagine yourself working in the field of radiology, using imaging technologies such as CT scans, x-rays and MRIs to diagnose and treat diseases. The medical imaging program trains you to understand and apply the principles of science and medicine as they relate to medical radiography. You will become skilled in the techniques and equipment used in diagnostic imaging departments.

Sample Courses:
Developmental Psychology, Waves and Optics, Health Physics, Sociology of Health.

Career Opportunities:
Graduates find careers in hospitals, medical clinics, veterinary clinics and in locations offering specialized radiography. They also may work as computer tomographers, mammographers and clinical instructors.
