Saskatchewan secondary school level standing or Adult 12 standing A minimum admission average of 65% is required unless otherwise stated below.

Arts

 

  • English Language Arts A30 & B30*
  • One approved math or science
  • One approved 30-level language, social science or fine arts
  • One additional approved 30-level course

Business Administration

  • English Language Arts A30 & B30*
  • One of Foundations of Math 30, Pre-calculus 30 or Math B30
  • One approved 30 level language, social science or fine arts course

85% or higher admission average: Admitted directly through the Excellence Program. 

65% to 84.99% admission average: Admitted as qualifying students.

Education

  • English Language Arts A30 & B30*

Additional Requirements:

  • Submit the Teacher Education Application
  • BEd Elementary:  Workplace and Apprenticeship Mathematics 30, Foundations of Math 30, Pre-calculus 30 or Math A30 is required
  • BEd Secondary with a major or minor in Math or Physics:  Pre-calculus 30 or Math B30 and Math C30 are required
  • BEd Secondary with a major or minor in Chemistry:  Pre-calculus 30 or Math B30 and Math C30 are required.  Physics 30 and Chemistry 30 are also required.
  • BMusEd see Fine Arts
  • Competitive entry program. Admissions is based on the admission average and the Admission Profile

Engineering

  • English Language Arts A30 & B30*
  • Pre-calculus 30 or Math B30 and Math C30
  • Chemistry 30
  • Physics 30

A minimum admission average of 70%-79.99% is required for admission to the general major.  80% or higher are admitted directly to their major of choice.

Environmental Health Science a minimum admission average of 65% is required.

Calculus 30 is recommended

Fine Arts

  • English Language Arts A30 & B30*
  • Three additional approved 30 level courses (including Pre-Calc 20)

1. Fine Arts Supplementary Information:

  • BFA/CFA in Visual Arts and CFA in Indian Arts: Portfolio required. The deadline to submit the portfolio Fall: April 1 Winter: December 1
  • Bachelor of Music: Interview, music theory placement test and audition required
  • Bachelor of Music Education: Music theory test, audition and Teacher Education Application required

 

Journalism

Two years pre-journalism in the Faculty of Arts  

Kinesiology & Health Studies

Bachelor of Kinesiology

Science

Please note that if a student is presenting Math B30 and C30 then only ONE science is used in the calculation.

Social Work

  • One additional approved 30-level course

1. Social Work: All applicants are considered for admission to the the Social Work Qualifying Year.

* - Fransaskois/Immersion students may use one of Français fransaskois A30/B30 or Français immersion in combination with either one of the English Language Arts courses.
