High school diploma with five academic courses at the 40 level  

Arts & Kinesiology (Bachelor of Health Studies only)

  • English Language Arts 40S
  • Four additional 40S-level courses (Lists A or B)
 

Business Administration

  • English Language Arts 40S
  • Pre-Calculus Math 40S or Applied Math 40S
  • One 40-level language, social science or fine arts (List B)
  • Two additional 40S-level courses (Lists A or B)

85% or higher: Admitted directly through the Excellence Program.

65% - 84.99% admission average: Admitted as qualifying students.

Education

  • English Language Arts 40S
  • Four additional 40S-level courses (may also use Pre-Calculus Math 30S) (List C)
Teacher Education Admission Profile must be submitted


Elementary Education or Secondary Business Education: One of Applied Math 40S, Consumer Math 40S, Pre-Calc Math 30S or Pre-Calc Math 40S required.

Secondary Education programs with a major or minor in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics: Pre-Calc 40S required

Engineering & Applied Science

  • English Language Arts 40S

  • One additional 40S-level course (Calculus 45S recommended) (List F)

80% required for admission to major of choice.

70-79.99 % required for admission to the General major.

65% required for Environmental Health Science.

Fine Arts

  • Four additional 40S-level courses (may also use Pre-Calculus Math 30S) (Lists A or B)

Fine Arts Supplementary Information:

  • BFA/CFA in Visual Arts and CFA in Indian Arts: Portfolio required. Deadline to submit the portfolio is: Fall - April 1; Winter - December 1
  • Bachelor of Music: Interview, music theory placement test and audition required
  • Bachelor of Music Education: Music theory test, audition and BMusEd Teacher Education Admission Profile required.

Kinesiology & Health Studies

(Bachelor of Kinesiology & Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Studies only)

  • English Language Arts 40S
  • Pre-calculus Math 40S (or Applied Math 40S-BSRS only)

Nursing
